I am passionate about helping families get the sleep they deserve to be happy and healthy. I am also a proud mum of two girls exactly a year apart in age.

I believe that sleep is essential to a child’s development, and  a family’s mental health and well-being. I’m very passionate about helping families get the sleep they deserve to live happy, healthy lives.

Sleep is a basic human need and should never be viewed as luxury, the benefits of healthy, consolidated good quality sleep are simply non debatable!

My Story

I know how painful it is to go through sleepless nights with a child because I went through it myself.

When my daughter Jannah was born, I was euphoric. For the first few weeks of her life she slept through the night no problem and everything was blissful.

Then something changed…

Suddenly my good little baby didn’t want to sleep anymore. She’d wake up crying every hour demanding to be fed. I tried everything—rocking her, giving her a dummy, lying beside her, walking her in the pram—but nothing seemed to work.

I finally reached the breaking point

It happened when Jannah was eight weeks old. I had been walking her in the pram for an hour trying to get her to sleep and went in to the supermarket to buy a few things. While I was at the check-out she woke up and started screaming.

“Why don’t you feed her?” the checkout girl suggested.

I almost burst into tears. I’d just fed Jannah an hour ago—she couldn’t possibly be hungry! But I had no idea what the problem was.

When I got home that day I went to the computer and started researching everything I could about getting babies to sleep. That’s when I came across Dana Obleman and her wonderful Sleep Sense™ program.

I started following her advice immediately and that night for the first time ever Jannah slept for seven hours straight without waking!

This was a miracle for an eight-week-old baby who had been up every hour for five weeks straight. I didn’t have to use the pram to get her to sleep any more—and our walks were so much fun because she was awake and engaged with her surroundings. And all of us were SO much happier.

Finally, I was living the motherhood experience I’d always dreamed of.

Sleep is so important to me I decided I want to help families!

I decided to become a professional child sleep therapist and consultant because I believed it would allow me to help more people in a more meaningful way.

With this in mind, I completed an in-depth training program with Dana Obleman to become the first leading certified Sleep Sense™ consultant in the UK. Over the years I have helped hundreds of families all over the world transform their lives.

I will work closely with you and show you how to lovingly teach your child how to sleep on his or her own, without the use of addictive sleep props such as a dummy or walks in a pram, so your whole family can get the sleep you need to live happier, healthier lives.

My two girls sleep 12-13 hours every night. I can help you teach your child to do the same thing.

The British Sleep Society (BSS/BPSS)

I am a certified member of the British Sleep Society. This is a professional organisation for medical, scientific and healthcare workers dealing with sleeping disorders. They are a registered British charity, whose ultimate aim is to improve public health by promoting education and research into sleep and its disorders.

The Lullaby Trust

I am a member and receive regular training by The Lullaby Trust. It is a charity that raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and offers emotional support for bereaved families. They assist healthcare professionals who support new families, to make sure parents receive consistent advice and are equipped with the knowledge to sleep their baby more safely.
